The names of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former IG Benazir Ahmed, police officer Monirul Islam, army officers Ziaul Ahsan, Asaduzzaman and AKM Shahidul Haque, and seven others have been mentioned in it.

Submitting the disappearance complaint, Salahuddin Ahmed told journalists that everyone should file a case so that cases can be filed against those who were subjected to disappearances, murders, and torture during the fascist era in Bangladesh. I call for increasing logistical support so that these cases can be tried at the International Crimes Tribunal.

He also said that the aspiration of this nation is justice. Not just in July-August, but in the past, all the people who have been killed and tortured will be brought to justice. These are our promises. BNP leader Salahuddin urged those who are victims to file cases. Incidentally, Salahuddin went missing from Uttara in the capital on March 10, 2015. About two months later, on May 11, local police found him in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. After arresting him, the Meghalaya police filed a case under the country’s Foreigners Act on the charge of entering India without valid documents. Salahuddin was acquitted in that case by a lower court verdict in 2018.
