Chief Advisor to meet BNP-Jamaat in the evening

An official from the Chief Advisor’s office said that the Chief Advisor is scheduled to meet BNP at the State Guest House Jamuna from 4 pm on Saturday (May 24). The official also said that he will meet Jamaat from 6 pm.

Due to the political situation that has arisen in the last few days, the Chief Advisor informed the Advisory Council of his intention to resign.

The matter has started to stir in the political arena as soon as it came to light. In the meantime, NCP convener Nahid Islam met the Chief Advisor. There, he expressed his regret to the Chief Advisor about his political activities.

On the other hand, Jamaat proposed an all-party meeting. BNP has said that they do not want the Chief Advisor to resign.
