Date for announcing new political party finalized
Sarjis Alam said that the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and National Citizens Committee will be announced on February 28.
He gave this information at an emergency press conference on Monday evening. The probable date of the debut of this new political party was February 26, but it has been postponed again.
He said, ‘This new political party is going to debut on Manik Mia Avenue adjacent to the National Parliament Building at 3 pm on February 28.’
Sarjis Alam said, ‘The biggest demand of the new Bangladesh is a strong political party. The biggest realization is the dreams we saw of the new Bangladesh on August 5, keeping this July spirit in mind. The place where we imagined the new Bangladesh is a long struggle. The Bangladesh that stands on the lives of thousands of martyrs, that is, on the blood of millions of brothers and sisters, is a deposit for us to gift that Bangladesh to the next generation.’
